If you're hoping for a blood dripping gory horror show with this film,you might get disappointed. Instead what you'll get is an intensely sadstoryline that's intelligently crafted leaving you craving for answersand analysis long after the credits have rolled.
In my opinion it is best not to say much about this movie in order forthe viewers to maximize their experience. But what I will say is, forme, the acting was impactful and engaging, the directing wasbrilliantly mysterious, and the storyline was deep and heartfelt! Allwith a touch of creepy nervousness.
The questions about the movie kept surfacing even days after. I lovedit. It's great when thoughtful movies like this comes along, which isfar too infrequent.
This movie is intense! Definitely a thumbs up! A must see!

I saw this film at the Arizona International Film Festival and I haveto admit, I'm not a huge horror fan. But I was pleasantly surprisedwith the House of Good And Evil. It was getting some good buzz, so Idecided to check it out. It is not like most horror films that justhave gore for gore's sake. There actually is a storyline and somepretty good acting.
To me this seemed more like a suspense thriller with some horror addedin. Don't get me wrong, there is some excellent horror in this film sotrue horror fans will not be disappointed.
I don't want to give a way too much of the film but the suspense buildsnicely throughout the film and the payoff is great.
Even though this is not a big budget studio film the quality is veryimpressive. The visuals look good. There is some good directing and asmentioned before, for a horror film the acting is top notch. I foundout later that this was the director's first film. That fact made iteven more impressive because the film was so well put together.
I highly recommend this film even if you are not a horror fan. The plotand suspense will make for an enjoyable movie going experience.

Saw this movie at the the Arizona International Film Festival inTuscon. Before hand I read some of the reviews horror sites had andthey all loved the film, so I figured might as well. All I can say isWOW! I think what I like the most about the film is it didn't sell outto the gore horror genre and brought back that classic horror filmstyle many indie horrors fail to provide. Don't get me wrong, it'sstill a creepy and disturbing horror modern audiences can appreciate.The story telling is very effective, with stunning cinematography andabove all a powerful performance by Rachel Marie Lewis. She carried thefilm and you sincerely felt the misery and fear her character felt. Youforgot at times this was a movie and you take on the role of Voyeur. Iwould love to see her in more roles. There were scenes where theaudience jumped (I have to admit I was one of them) and at the end ofthe film people actually discussed it and great detail in the lobby.That's a unique experience you seldom see. Director David Mun's debuthit every mark in my opinion. This film is best enjoyed going into it,not knowing anything about the story, as it will surprise you more theless you know about it. This is a must see and hopefully the film getsa wide audience.
